Reasons for failure of Democratic Government

Democratic government as the meaning of word is “A government chosen by people of a nation or community to serve for the benefit of nation or that community, and its people ”.
It is consider as the best form of government .Then where the causes of its failure are, which is happening in India presently.
If it is government of public then surely the root causes of its failure lie or related with people and more importantly Normal people. I am enlightening some of them here in this paragraph:
1) As “Right to cast vote is the most powerful weapon given to a normal people in a democracy “. It is very necessary to use it effectively and efficiently .There should be more voting percentage as seen in recent election in different states where it was above 70 % in all states . Whereas in 2009 general Loksabha election it was only 97%. And everybody can visualize the difference immediately. As in Bengal it destroyed the fort of communists and in Tamilnadu it ended the carrier of Mr Karunanidhi with a victorious AIDMK.
2) The biggest threat to our democracy is “Vote on the basis of cast and religion, language and region” .This divide and rule policy was earlier employed by British to rule India for such a long period.
Even people of our country have seen the formation of Pakistan only on the basis of religion.
Later Pakistan suffered from it in form of formation of Bangladesh , but in later case it was division on the basis of Language rather than religion in earlier case.
Our politicians are also applying the same more efficiently because they know our feelings and sentiments properly.
We have seen this policy in India earlier in 1) General election 1989 where Bhartiya Janta Party won 83 in comparison to 2 seats in General election 1984.Only because of agenda of RAM MANDIR .
They again applied in election of 1991 and with a great advancement which resulted in increment of 17 seats in Lok sabha and assured them government in Uttar Pradesh because Mulayam Singh(chief minister of Uttar Pradesh at that time)used force against people creating riots .This victory of 1991 also resulted in many killings in hindu muslim riots of ayodhya and demolition of Babri Masjid.
2)Second case is popularity of Raj Thakre in Maharastra (case of regionalism).I don’t think I should write more about this as it is very recent so each of us knowabout it.
There are countless examples of these policies in our country the basic example is Giving Ticket to a person of majority community in a particular area.and this one is very common and successful in India.
3) Another threat to our democracy is casting vote for a person who is publicizing himself and using huge amount of money in election .If they are spending money for winning election .Then its crystal clear that they are sowing seeds for their crop in terms of money by spending it in election.
Weather an industrialist will finance their election budget or they are using their own money they will take it back with huge margin.
There are several examples:
1) Distribution of laptops and televisions to people of Tmilnadu (its very common there).
2) Distribution of money to people in assembly election of Bihar by Laloo Prasad Yadav in 2005.
3)We have numorous examples of distributing alcohol to persons in election for their votes.
With increasing corruption this policy also prevents incoming of good ,talented and honest person in our politics because either they don’t have many to spent on election or they don’t want to spent their precious money .
4)Our Mentality:- In ancient times we were being ruled by Kings and also exploited by some of them. Then by British .So after such a long period of being ruled by people with huge money and power. Now Our mind is in a state that it won’t accept a talented person from the root or from one of common man to rule on them (as a common man sees no difference between ruler and an elected person for democracy )
5)In the end I am thankful to the public for showing interests in social news because it gives media (one of the basic pillar of democracy)the T.R.P. which motivates and encourages them for covering
Better news .Some examples of such benefits are :- 1)Life imprisonment to Manu Sharma by supreme and high court who was released by lower court , in Jessica Lal murder case .Popularity of Anna Ji and and company.Revealing of many scams e.t.c.
So I want to conclude that please use your weapon and in a right way for choosing a right person.
Because it is is basic duty of a citizen in democracy. It will allow the flow of honest people. And situations like present political crisis and a period of fasts will never happen again in future. And then only Indians will have the fruits of democracy.

WHY HUNGER STRIKES ARE SO POPULAR:

The increase in recent hunger strikes surely shows that people are interested in them because Indian media is covering them .But now a question arises why so?. Why people of India are supporting a bunch of people instead of democratic government chosen by them.
I want to highlight certain specific reasons:
1) Presently almost every politician is corrupted.
They have forgotten that they are servants of public chosen by public to serve for public not the rulers. I want to enlighten a slogan of BSP in U.P (my native state ) before 2009 Lok Sabha election “U.P TO HUMARI H AB DILLI KI BAARI HAI”. What did they mean by U.P to huamari h .Miss Mayawati is not the queen of U.P .

2) Our laws are so week that people like Afjal Guru and Ajmal Kasab are enjoying peace in jail.
Instead of punishing them we are spending money on their safety.
So if your law are unable to punish a terrorist how it can be able to punish a politician or a powerful person.
3) People are frustrated from poverty ,living condition , inflation .At one hand India claims one of the largest economy of the world and on other hand its rank by recent reports on human development by U.N is around 130.
After 63 years of freedom we are not able to feed the whole country .
The reason behind all these things is same CORRUPTION “the biggest enemy of human rights”.
4) People are sick from talking about corruption on the dining table or in a group so when Mr Anna Hazare reminded them about the most powerful weapon which AHINSA given by mahatma to them .They are using it. At that time Bapu used it for welfare of public and and public followed Bapu. Presently people like Anna ji are using it for the same cause .
There is only one difference Gandhiji used it against alien power but people like Anna ji are using it against government chosen by us.
Its the bed luck of motherland Bharatmata that her own son are raping her.

Till now India helped in maintaining peace in other country but if our politician continuing in same way then “EK din IS MAA KO BACHANE KE LIYE BHI BAHRIYON KO HASTAKSHEP KARNA PADEGA” .

19:2005 — Scorpene submarine Scam was worth Rs 18,978 crores.
20:2006 — Punjab’s city centre project scam
21:2006 — Taj Corridor Scam was worth 175 Crores.
22:2008 — Pune Billionaire Hasan Ali tax default scam was worth Rs 50,000 crores.
23:2008 – Satyam Scam was worth Rs 10.000 Crores.
24:2008 — Army Ration Pilferage Scam was worth Rs 5000 crores.
25:2008 — 2G Spectrum Scam was worth Rs 60.000 Crores.
26:2008 — State Bank of Saurashtra Scam was worth Rs 95 crores.
27:2008 — Illegal money in Swiss Bank is worth Rs 71,00,000 Crores.
28:2009 — Jharkhand Medical equipment scam was worth Rs 130 Crores.
29:2009 — Rice export scam was worth Rs 2500 crores.
30:2009 — Orissa Mine scam was worth Rs 7000 crores.
31:2009 — Madhu Koda scam was worth Rs 4000 crores.
32:2010 – IPL fraud involving swine called Lalit Modi option was worth
33:2010 — Commonwealth Games loot is worth?
What is the reason that such scams are increasing day by day.the reason is very simple they don't have fear because they have no one on their top.
the second and most important reason is that still in 21st century the voting on india is all around castism .they knows that people of their cast will not let them down even if they are in prison they will win the election. Now a days political party doesn't want to see the talent of their candidate but they want to see his money so that they can utilise that,in election and his cast .For example take the case of uttar pradesh
presently the ruling party bahujan samaj party.before this election their punchline was "TILAK TARAJOO AUR TALWAR, INKO MARO JOOTE CHAR"with this tagline after wining election bsp won election but cant complete the period of 5 years.and this time they came with dalit brahminand muslim unity.because in uttar pradesh acc to lat census 27% population is harijan and around 28% r muslim.so with this strong concept BSP won the election with absolute majority.

What is a scam and why ?
in india if a indrustrialist want to pass his project that project should be pass through many departments like(water, enviourment, mhrd and many other)and to pass project from every department it should first pass through many officials after thatthe minister this whole process may take so much time and in current world one doesn't want to miss even one day .So to speed up the process of passing files they gives money at various steps or at only one step and then they disributes that money among themselves.
Actually in this process the indrustialist are not only culprit because if they will not give money at each step may be their project will not get pass.and if their project dont get approvel then court is only solution (which is the base of a democracy). And every one knows that it is a very lengthy process and removel of judge again is in the hand of politicians.
and that is the biggest problem of our country .
I am not against the conthis problem can be solved by technology .Their may be several ways to stop them .we can stop them by using our rights like right to information and other such acts which i will mention n my next article.
